The most common layout for continuous running is the oval. This layout combines two ovals - one in O-72 and the other in O-54, so anything currently produced would be right at home. TABLE SIZE: 7' x 14'
But look what we have added for operational interest. The inner oval includes an interconnected figure 8 which allows a train to reverse direction. Double cross-overs connect the outer loop with the inner, so trains may freely travel anywhere on the layout. Two sidings are shown for equipment storage, but additional spurs may be added easily.
